Alright guys...I've had my BC coilovers on since October, and I love the drop. I was a noob to coilovers when I purchased them and I know NOTHING of how to adjust the shocks. I need help with the rear. Can someone explain, show me via a picture, or something along those lines how the rear struts need to be adjusted? I have the rear coils maxed out with both rings still installed, and I need to know how far the bottom of the shock (the gold part that has the black nut on the threaded portion) needs to be from the part that it bolts to? Does that need to be a big gap between or does the gold part need to be threaded down to the bottom? When I go over bumps, I get a HARSH ass thud from the rear and it sounds like its ripping my new progress rear sway bar out. I ******* hate how the car feels right now and I need some help dialing this in. Someone, please help or provide some pictures or something??

you should "show us via a picture" the way u have it set up right now. i know this might be like nails on a chalk board but.....have you checked your endlinks/swaybar bushings/brackets to make sure all is snug and right? everything is torqued down properly with your C/Os?

Yes, I put on my sway bar this weekend with new AWR endlinks, and checked and torqued all bolts. Its gotta be the way the shocks are adjusted. Even if there was not an issue, there has to be a proper way to adjust the shocks in terms of height to match it to the height of the coil/spring. Like I said, for people who have theirs maxed out, can you reveal how you have the shocks adjusted, please??? Right now, I'd say I have about anywhere from 5 to 10 inches of the threaded part showing from the bottom of the gold piece to the part where it bolts into the suspension beneath the rotor. Ugh...

I have my rear struts as low as they can go. To adjust them, you have to loosen the locking nut, the grab the strut with both hands and rotate clockwise to lower it. Once you are at the desired strut height, tighten the locking not. No clunking noise whatsoever.

does that give the shock enough traveling room to give a proper ride/rebound? If so, no wonder my car feels weird in the rear of the car...I have a huge gap from the bottom knuckle to the base of the shock. Atleast 5 to 10 inches...every bit of it.
