Foglight Question

A rock hit and broke my LH foglight. I have an 08 MS3.

I just bought a mazda3 LH foglight assembly on ebay. Is there a difference? They look to be slightly different, but I cannot tell until I remove my assembly.

Next question, can the actual glass light fixture be removed from the light assembly and swapped to the MS3? The glass light fixture looks to be identicle.

Well the fog lights on my old MZ3 (06) were round and the MS3 fogs are more horizontal. They are not the same atleast for '06 MZ3...

I know the round ones are different. But some mazda 3's come with the horizontal fog lights like this one.

I am wondering if the glass light fixture can be swapped. I also know it comes off of the plastic mounting because I took the MS3 one apart today.

For anyone who cares, the glass light fixture from the mazdaSPEED3 and the MAZDA3 (of course the rectangle style not the round) are the EXACT SAME. The part number is identical. The picture is of the mazda3's foglight that I bought and put into my MS3.

I got it used on ebay so I did not check what the difference in price would be to buy the mazda3's light from the dealership. But I know the MS3 foglight is $306.
