Hey guys ...sorry bout a simple question like this but i just wanted to know how do you replace the foglight bulbs in your MSP?

I looked under the car and it seemed that there wasnt enough room to do anything....do the foglights unscrew or something from the front?? Thanks for the help!!!:D

you have to take off the bumper just to get to the fog lights... I dont know why mazda had to make it so hard.. :wtf:

There's no need to take off the bumper. The fog lights are held on by a single nut (12mm, I think, maybe 14). The foglight itself has the bolt connected to it. Once you get that off, the lights will slide out of the bumper a little. There's a small blue clamp that holds the wiring to the bumper. Squeeze this, and you'll get more slack - enough slack to undo the connector and remove the fog light entirely. The blue things are on the outside of each light, and you have to squeeze the top and bottom and they'll pop into the fender.

It's not hard to get them out, but it's easier if the car's on ramps.

Good luck aligning them, tho. I replaced my fogs with yellow PIAA bulbs, and managed to aim them more out than down. That was a b****!

do you have any pics of that? night shots? i am planning on doing that someday, the yellow piaas

Here's a few pics ... they're not very good at showing how yellow they are. I'll tell ya, tho, they absolutely RULE in the fog!

Notice one of my puppitos, Buh Buh Ray in the first pic. (Puppito because he's half long-haired Chihuahua, so he's Mexican. :D )

I WAS THINKN ABOUT BUYIN THE PIAA GOLD BUT I WISH THEY GAVE OFF A YELLOW COLOR KINDA LIKE THE IS300 ..IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THEM TO DO THAT???

They do give off yellow light, just not when looked at straight-on. I -tried- to get pics of it, but it's flippin cold, so I wasn't going to spend too much time out there. lol You can see the lower yellow stripe on the wall (man, those are a b**** to align), and the one of the front of the car, the ground is a little yellowish.

I like them, but they're probably not what you're looking for if you want hella yellow. They're yellow enough for me (plus give off an alomst HID-like blue color) and they work for what I wanted (fog lights).
