hey guys i bought a used exhaust depot fmic and installed it myself yesterday. this piece of s*** keeps f**kin up on me. once installed i took it around the block and the throttle body tube disconnected so i pushed it back in and drove slow. then while in 6th gear i gave it some gas on the highway mayb doin around 50 mph and pop again. i pull over and now the turbo tube popped out pushed it back in and drove slowly. today i wake go to home depot and buy them clamps they sell and took the piece of s**** off and put one on the throttle and one on the turbo. everything seems to be good and driving perfect when again pop now the the 2 pipes that connect throttle body pipe and fmic pipe together pop off and slipped it baq in and drove extra slow. now its sitting in my driveway unmovable till i fix it. any special clamps i should get?? or am i do sumthing wrong?? please help. if you need pics let me know i will be taking pics tomarro. i was thinking could it be the selves that are messed up or bad?? they are the ones that came with the fmic

Got any photos? I really don't have any MS3 experience, so I'm not sure if your kit has couplers or how it is connected, but I would say to get some t-bolt clamps. Those things will stay on as long as you tighten them enough.

Did you even put clamps on or tighten them down for that matter? Crank the hell out of those things. Dont be afraid to tighten the hell out of those things.

i tighten the hell out of them resulting in them being striped and not even working. i am using t-bolts but i feel the cheap home depot r better i guess...

these are the best!

T-bolt clamps. Make sure you get the right size otherwise you will not be able to tighten them down enough. Also spray the inside of the coupler and the outside of the pipe with hairspray, it will make it sticky enough that they will not slide off.

do the intercooler pipes have like a bump ring that u slide the clamp over then tighten, or is it a straight tube all the way till the end, evne if u tighten them relatively tight, with no "speed bump" persay or a tapered out end, they can still slide off, if there straight pipes, bend out of the of the pipes so a bit

Agreed, they should have a lip on the end to prevent the couplers from blowing off. Something like this..

like these guys said, t-bolt clamps are best, and make sure they are the right size.

also, make sure none of your pipping is inverted.

I have acutally doubled t bolts on couplers, meaning not 2 but 4 at troubled spots. be sure to boost leak test at some point
