FMIC Pipe Kit finally available

Hector over at Exhaust Depot had me try out his fmic pipe kit setup. It is the same as that comes with the regular front mount kit, except he makes the pipes that meet the core just slightly longer so you can use your own core if you want. I bought a bigass core off ebay so i cut the pipes a couple inches so it would fit. Over all great product. He is selling them for $300 for the pipe kit only. I got on ebay and found a front mount for $100, and also got the silicone couplers and t bolt clamps for $50. So for about $450+ shipping, i had a fmic on my car and the core is bigger than the CPE unit!!!!

just be careful with your intercooler selection .. bigger dosent always mean better ... you want to make sure the IC you get is going to be the most efficient for the car .. not the biggest one you can get your hands on

qft u can actually lose a few psi going with a giant core.

how much different is the CP-E from the injen intake. Noone has answered if a CP-E intake will fit anything other than CP-E intercooler, someone out there has to have tried it.

this is really good! it's only 4 simple pipes, which I dont see why other companies have to sell whole fmic kits for so much money! 4 pipes, t-clamps, couplers, and the core should never cost more than $400 all together.

but this is great, if you buy the piping kit here, you can go on ebay and get a godspeed or otehr brand core for like $100 shipped and you're set!
