does anyone have pics of repositioned front license plates? i'm thinking of moving mine up a bit to let more airflow get to the FMIC, but i don't know how good it'll look. thanks.

i tied mine to the girll, the lower grill. I dont have a tubro, dont have money for one and i dont have stick, therefore its staying where it is. It looks good to me and all my friends like and and are doing it.

Can you put the license plate in the window????

No, we'd get pulled over if it was in the window. It has to be in the front of car. And putting it in our grill would cover up most of the intercooler causing even less air in.

search around on the net.. there is a kit you can get that has a hinge that when your moving at faster than 40mph speeds the plate folds up so you get full air flow but at a stop it is down so you dont get into it with the fuzz...

this is a common mod for japan.. but its done for the highway camera's

You could also get a bracket to mount it on the side, a la an Evo. I purchased a braket that was originally for a civic, and jerry-rigged it to fit.

i thought about mounting a braket off to the side, but i think moving the plate up slightly might look better. i'm just trying to prove this! :p

yes i know, i said that i put it on because i dont have a turbo, or even a stick, and no intentions of buying a turbo, cuz i dont wnat more reasons for people to steal my car.

Hmmm, you can try that side bracket, onlt downfall to our car is taht that girll is not big enought to mount the license plate anywhere

Is it required to have it in the front of yall car??? Down here in louisiana all you need is a rear one.. and thats it...

sorry for crappy quality of camera phone pics. and yes i know theres no fmic.. but i think ahead :)

is all you have the upper part of the plate drilled in? you don't have the lower part drilled in do you?

i'd like to do a mod like this, but i want the plate secured, and i can't find a bracket anywhere that can support top and bottom...

In Illinois it's required. Seldom enforced, though. And I heard that soon that's changing so only rear's required. Can't wait!

the japanese angled license plate holders tend to flap in the wind after awhile. this is what most japanese car owners that have them complain about. they live w/ it however. (shrug)

it's a good idea but because how our bumper is designed you can't have it fold all the way horizontal w/o it either hitting the bumper (if you mount it at the stock mouting points) or if you have an i/c (it'll probably get in the way even if you reposition the mounts).

PlateLess is the only way to go. I leave it in my trunk. Never been pulled.
