I am looking to get a new car stereo for my P5. I want Navigation, DVD, Bluetooth, and iPod compatible. I know Alpine has one for a $1000.00. I want to find something a little cheaper. I found the Flux-Capacitor for $150.00 and wanted to know how hard the self installs on stereos? And has anyone had good luck with off brand stereos.

Looking for a lot of sound for a little cash.

i have a standard pioneer stereo in my car. installation wise it was just like installing a stereo on any other car. the main problem that i had was the removal of the stock stereo. you absolutely NEED 2 pairs of stereo removal tools (you can find them on ebay and pretty much any audio store). i only had 1 pair of tools and ended up using some screw drivers as a substitute for the other pair which made it a PITA to remove.

just remember you get what you pay for lol
(aka if the price is cheap it means it is cheap lol)

LOL ^^^^^^^^^^^

I thought you were joking but hey still funny........

I was about to say be careful when the Stereo starts to go crazy and begins to spark at 88 MPH.

The price worries me on the Stereo though. You get what you pay for.

I am a professional install and have istalled my fair share of both brand name nav units as well as the cheap internet ones that customers bring to us that they "got for a great deal". I can say that there is no comparison in quality between the two, you WILL get what you pay for! Most of the customers who have the cheap units installed come back after a short while to get something of quality from us and admit that they were dumb for thinking they could get something for so cheap that was actually good. Save up a little longer and get something of the name brand variety. Just my two cents.

Check out crutchfeild.com. I just got there magazine and it has some good deals in it.
Alpine IVA-W203 DVD reciever - 449.99 plus 299.99 for nav reciever
Jensen VM9414 DVD/NAV reciever - 499.99
Pioneer AVIC-U310BT CD/NAV reciever - 399.99
Kenwood DDX516 DVD/NAV - 549.99

Many options out there, I would stay away from no name junk like the flux capacitor thing you were looking at.
