But OSU is famous for this too. Thet have had several seasons where they go undefeated all season, then get to either a chap game or a bowl game and choke.

Well I'll be a damned! I never would have guessed it. FL just came ready to play that's all it comes down to. OH must have taken that 50+ days off to party.

OSU appeared to be very overated. They talked a good game, but did not show up to play. How do you do that if you are #1. No way they were the number 1 team. Sports writers suck ass and have too much influence on the college game IMO. Bring on a playoff, just like NCAA baseball and basketball already has. Afterall, its about education and personal development, not profit right?(wink)

Gators looked like an NFL team against a pee-wee squad. Go ahead Gators, chomp it up, you earned it!

I think a big part of it was that OSU was comming into this game thinking it was gonna be easy...they had no idea how fast our defense was. The Gators showed up and played their hearts out, they knew what they needed to do and got it done. I went out and got a "2006 NCAA Champions" custom made lisence plate frame with gators logos on it to go around my new custom tag, ill post pics tomorrow Oh, and the frame goes for football and basketball...because the Gators really kicked ass this year! Only school to get the basketball and football title in the same year

Yes the Gators played a great game!! and OSU choked hard. All I was saying is that they have done that soo many times that it came to no suprise to me. Personally I could really care less. Neither one of them pay my bills! lol I remember seeing several champ/bowl games where OSU was 1st or 2nd going into the game and end up getting their ass handed to them. They are a great "during the season" team just as much as the Gators are, but they seem to choke when it comes to the bigger games. Yes the Gators had/has a great offense/defense, so like I said, Grats to the Gators!

I have a deep love for UF as they saved my Fathers life back in 98 when he had to have emergency brain surgery because of a suden brain anurism! So with that said Thank you Florida Gators not only for winning the national championship but for allowing me to keep my Father!
