Thanks Rico!

After a lot of waiting.. I finally received my carbon fiber warp today in the mail. First time ever working with this stuff too. Got myself a roll of 12x60 and wrapped my roof rack (really wasn't too impressed with the bad placement of my stickers on it plus it just didn't flow with the car)

Here's the end result!

And a close up..

Not bad for my first time I'd say? I personally love working with this stuff.. really turns out great if you put the time and effort into working with it. With the little bit I had left over just from the excess that I had cut off from the roof rack I even wrapped my phone case.

Still have about half a roll left, So I think I may jump on the carbon fiber wrap train and start doing some interior pieces.

I also have the next week off starting tomorrow.. So if all goes well I think I'll be fixing/replacing my fuel filter housing. And (cross your fingers) start/finish redoing the hood.

Edit: Had to

Well I got rid of the rust on the hood and making it look like new and painted the new grille.

Dropped the lip off at a shop because, **** it I'm tired of body work and didn't feel like half ass repairing the thing again... I also thought now would be the best time to have it paint matched to the rest of the car.

As for the hood/girlle I'm still going to have to do a fair bit of wet sanding/buffing to make it look prettier than it is at the moment.

Do it!!! Looks so much better, I got the idea from bikingpro5

Well if bikingpro5 did it...... haha

How did you guys do it? Just cut out the grill from the stock one and glue it? lol can't wrap my head around it just yet.

this forum needs a tag system so you can tell when people are talking about you, the lower grill just needs a subtle trim and fits easily into the upper open mouth grills. just leave more then you think and trim as needed, I cut mine with a pair of side cutters and finial trim to clean lines with sharp blade.

I used window urethane to hold the plastic to the CF grill.
