Its just like formatting a computer that has windows 98 on it and putting windows XP on it. The MSP bunch are getting their ECU's flashed with an updated "operating system" to help with the hesitation issues they have been having.

If you're jsut dying to get a flash done, look into the TSBs for the P5, there's one available to do something about the VCTS rattle. See Edwin's FAQ.

^^^ thats why. You could send you ECU off to people like JEt, and get it reflashed, but not to Mazda for the MSP flash.
