you need-
*long plug wire, usually from a v8
*ignition coil, mine was from an F22 Accord motor
*spark plug
*12 gauge wire
*switch
-you tap the signal wire going into one of your ignition coils, and run it to your switch.
-run the other lead of the switch to the negative (-) side of your extra ignition coil, i mounted mine in the trunk
-run the positive (+) side of the ignition coil to a switched ignition power source, i used my remote amp turn on (since i don't have an amp on my aftermarket HU)
-i ran the plug wire from the extra coil down through the drain hole in my trunk
-use a 1" hole say in the muffler piping, right before the tip so it isn't visible from the back or side
-i went to Home Depot and got a nut to thread onto the spark plug, and just tightened it into the muffler piping. connect the plug wire
-now, when you flip the switch or push a momentary button whichever you use it cuts spark from 2 cylinders and dumps fuel into the exhaust. the signal wire fires the coil in your trunk, and the plug will ignite the excess fuel. just rev it up to about 3k and let off and as it idles down it'll blow out. i'm sure it isn't really beneficial for the turbo to have the fuel run through it though, so if anyone decides to do this be careful with it. also, i've cut down intervals between oil changes in case there is any blowby into the crankcase. i'm sure some fuel does get in there, so again, be careful.
**when you install the plug, DO NOT put it before the muffler. i've had it suggested to me so the wire and plug is more concealed, but i have a funny feeling a muffler will not last long with that kind of open flame running through it. common sense should prevail, but you never know..
