Flame thrower exhaust

hehe I don't want flames shooting out of my exhaust :)
Kinda of hard when a P5 aian't really fast enough to be in front any anything. And if you are not in front they won't see your flames.

lol
:p

Wouldn't the flames melt the P5's bumper? The videos of the hot rods were pretty cool! Rather than flames, see if there is some kit that can shoot out rice so when you are in front of those Hondas you can win with authority. Ha. Peace.

that's really really ghetto. super rice.

flames coming out your exhaust are not indicative of a fast car, but rather a badly tuned one. the ricers down at the 7-11 might think it's cool, but no one else will.

Well put.

:p

haha looking for flames? go get yourself like an 84 Honda.. Over-jet the carb so it runs super rich, run header-back straight pipes..rig a grill lighter into your exhaust..and b00yah!..instant flames..wait..or was that just a recipe for fried rice..haha...

if you will notice on their faq page it says it will not work with a car that has catalytic converters. Thats the whole purpose of a cat is to remove all the unburned fuel from the exhaust, and we all know that just air isnt flammable. You would have to take your cats off for it to work. thats why you notice on their page they are all older cars/trucks, or a newer mustang with an off-road H-pipe they remove the cats, and some mustangs will backfire and shoot flames just from that.

so there must be no emissions inspections where you live then, or you just have a buddy working at the place. LOL

if your going to do the flame thing make it coloured like in Fast and Furious 2! have blue purple flame like the skyline.

also put a sign in the back so that cars don't pull up near you at stop lights.

i saw on a site selling these kits they were rev limiters and instead of cuttin off teh fuel it redirected it sumwher else where it came out teh exhaust as fire more for safty since cuttin teh fuel to ur engien is bad, it was on a skyline.

interesting read.

definately something i would never want on my car, lol.

hey falk, leave your car be..you dont wanna screw with the engine especially with it turbo-ed =D

heh, you guys have to try awfully hard to get flames out of your exhust...

buy an Rx7, and run it hard... you'll shoot fire on damn near every downshift... they just do that.

My firend has a 650 double pumper on a N/A 13b that spits out about 3 feet of flame... even more when he's running ~112 octane...

Exactly what I was going to say. I had an '82 RX7 with a 13B Streetport and it would belch flames like nodbody's business!

i actually have a flame thrower kit. it is on a honda and it goes like this ........yes you have to run the kit you can't just add a spark plug it WILL blow the valve cover straight out the hood if you do. the kit actually stalls the engine before sparking so back pressure doesn't blow the valve cover. it sparks till you flip the switch back then gound is given back to the distributer and starts back up using the compression already in the engine. you do have to bumb up fuel,, ie. fuel press. reg. , and cat is gone.....but you can add a glass pack or shorty muffler in place to quiet it a bit. your plug has to be atleast 12" to 16" from the tip of the exhaust. and for the time and money invested .......its not worth it. its not like Hollywood's "2 fast 2 furious " where you get the same color flame as your car..........or maybe i can run my car through a guard fence and rip the front off my protege...because i know in the next sene it wil be DAMAGE FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way that Stacy did it on "Trucks" was by running raw fuel through the engine some how. I know he had a kit made by some company, I forget the name, but he did say that running raw fuel through the engine was not good for it and that you would have to change your oil more often.

It had a cool factor of atleast 10! though! hehe
