anyone knows if the stock rims on the P5 would fit on the MSP with 225/45/16 winter tires??? I am looking on buying a really good deal set of stock rims from the P5. most thanks!!!

will it good for the bigger disc and the caliper on the MSP??

so the stock P5 rims will fit on MSP then?? any clearance prob. for the brake disc and caliper? I will be running with 225/45/16 rubber though...

pls help, I need to know coz' I will be buying the set of rims tomorrow. thanks;)

not many ppl know for sure, but im gonna say there wont be a problem. the bolt pattern is fine and I would expect any 16s to be big enough to fit over the 11" brakes in the front...

dpmmspsmsmmspp has 16s on his MSP already

OK, unless I reading this wrong, you want 225 tires for the Winter????

Are you nuts?? You don't want a tire that wide in the winter on car like the MSP. 195 MAX. Thinner tires are better for most snow conditions. Some people say thicker tires for black ice are alright, but I don't really find that at all.

And you want 45 series on 16 tire? You car is going to look like it has balloons on it, and their going to be useless in snow. If your going to a 16, at least get something like a 50 or 55. The taller tire will help in the snow a bit.

225....that's nuts.

lol, i just realized that, thats bigger than the Proxes T1S i wear on my SSR Integrals for the summer

the rubber you mentioned will NOT work....for starters...they are too WIDE....you will not find a single 225 that is recommended for use on a 6 inch wheel. you need to find some 195 SNOW tires.....

oh... thanks for the reply.... I think I am going nuts too. since I might have the wrong tires' sizes in my first post. I'll double check, seems to me that you guys are right. It can't be that wide. :p

I got my set of used P5 rims with stock tires.... FOR $250.00 BUCKS CANADIAN!!!!! that's rock, soooo damn cheap!!!! I am so excited, they are even in better condition than my set of rims on my P5!!! no rubs, no curbing on rims, tires 60% left!!!

I am so happy!!! :D :D :D :D :D

so going to put my winter tires on these for the MSP! ;)
