Fishdonotbounce's ATX Turbo Build

Ok I now have a comparison video post turbo. First vid is after I put the corksport exhaust on while I was still NA. Second is just a few hours ago that I took with the turbo.

dude, the turbo sounds great!
cool how it doesn't blow off until you actually take you foot off the gas at the end of the pull.

Thanks man. Yea I love having the auto for that reason. The HKS is a very loud BOV and I don't know if I would be able to stand it blowing off after every shift.

How is the BEGI RRFPR working out?

Was it hard to install?

I am debating between a Aeromotive 1.1 FPR or the BEGI RR, but not sure.

Nice build, if you have close up pics of the BEGI installed on the engine bay I would appreciate.

i used the begi and it was not difficult at all to install, great directions and it works like a charm! here's a pic of mine

Well I took care of my clunking problem today. Made myself some new endlinks using a bunch of nuts to strengthen the rod between. They're a bit heavy, but they won't bend guaranteed. It may be overkill but I don't wanna have to replace them again.

Also installed the new corksport rear strut bar. You can see the difference between the CS and the ebay one. Ran into a little snag when one of the brackets didn't allow the stock nut to thread onto the strut bolt due to the nut being too wide at the base. Went to lowe's and picked up a regular bolt and voila.

The front strut bar will be installed once the brackets are painted gold to match the valve cover and I make a bracket to mount the cruise since the old strut brackets are going to be gone.

Subbin. I didn't even know you had a build thread, mate! I love your car and it's always an inspiration to boost mine. Always good to see cats who make their own parts too.
