I hit a damn asteroid crater on Rt. 22 E yesterday near Newark. I just missed avoiding it, but I couldn't swerve to the left enough, because there was a car in the lane next to me. I said a few choice words after I nailed it, and then heard the telltale 'ding!' of the TPMS light come on. I pulled over (along with THREE other cars), to see my passenger front tire half flat. Took it to a tire place just down the street from my house this morning, and the sidewall is blown out. Mazda will be replacing it in the morning under TotalCare. I tell you, in a place like New Jersey, these extended warranties can actually be worth it...
