I have a 2009 mazdaspeed3 with a mazdaspeed cold air intake, mazdaspeed
coil-over suspension, cobb tuning shifter linkage, a Sure rear motor mount. and I just
ordered the mazdaspeed catback exhaust. does anyone know how much hp I gain
with the cai and cbe? I have to keep the car smog legal since I live in California.
Is there any other mods that won't violate the smog laws? thanks for your help - cghms3

woohoo another norcal member. i think that makes 3 total (I actually dont know the total) welcome anyhow!
most cbe are "smog" legal as long as you leave the cat installed.

cold air will net you 10-15hp, CBE will net you better sound but at most 5 hp IF that...mainly sound no increase in power unless you get yourself a dp.
