Holy Hannah. I can't wait for drier air and cooler temps. My front tires HATE me. I'm @ almost 30,000 miles and still love this car. I can't think of another car like this I'd rather have.

A few weeks ago as I was leaving the BMW motorcycle dealer I shot up the highway with a quick 2nd and 3rd gear blast. I didn't know there was a 2008 STI (blue/gold wheels) behind me at the light. We get to the next light and he immediately asks what has been done to the car. I told him that it was just bolt on stuff mostly. He replied, "I didn't think they went like that stock." I felt pretty good(angel) He thought for a second I was driving a red STI hatch knowing they didn't come in red.

We didn't race or nothing. He would have eaten my lunch to the next light. Besides, that's irresponsible. (loser)

Won't see that here for another three months, probably. 'Specially the dry part.

Odd, I felt the same way this morning. I looked at my ambient temp, and I saw 67 degrees, and said to myself, "I haven't driven in weather this low in a lonnng time".

Did the same quick 2-3 shift, probably only like half throttle.

Made me smile, and think, "this is the car I remember!"

You smell that? Do you smell that? Boost, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of boost in the morning.
