i do all of my wiring through the hole to the engine bay for the wiring harnesses, behind the glove box. the side kick panel is 1 plastic quick release clip, and the glove box is 3 screws and its out.

I am installing a shift light and I need to get a single 18GA wire from the passenger compartment to the PCM under the hood. I removed the glove box and do not see a way to get the wire through the factory bundle/seal. Also there is that heat barrier that blocks the engine side of the pass through, any suggestions for dealing with that?
Before I go drilling my own hole through the firewall, does anyone have any suggestions?
I was also surprised by the number of fuses in the Passenger Junction Box. Is there any way to swing the block down to avoid having to remove the glove box for access to these fuses?

Later that same day, I drilled a 1/8" hole through the firewall below and to the right of the PJB harness feed-thru. I ran my single 18GA wire and sealed it in place with RTV. I found the hood release cable feed-thru to be pretty impossible to reach behind the ABS pump and I did not want to remove the upper dash for this project.
