Firefox problems

Call me oldfashioned, but I don't get what is so much greater about firefox over IE? Can someone explain it to me?

i've noticed since the last firefox update that i drop sessions/cookies too easily. will most likely be addresses in version 3

I'm using 2.0.0.2 on most of my computers, but I'm running a nightly build of Bon Echo (test version) on my desktop.. I haven't noticed this on any of my computers? weird

all my important cookies are retaine dwith cookie culler, your session should always be restored if firefox crashes

yellow do you ever go to digg.com, and if so, does your cpu usage go to 100% while it's loading the page? i think it has something to do with transparent .pngs, but i'm not sure. supposedly having 3d acceleration enabled would take care of it. i have fglrx installed and confirmed by running glxgears, but the site still lags the s*** out of me. i'm gonna try on opera.

update: completely flawless on opera. firefox is a resource hog :(

Well yeah, tell us something we didn't know. I don't mind if firefox gives my system a workout because web browsing is what I spend a lot of my computer time doing when I'm home so why not let the browser use all my memory and such?

Opera is tits though, never a resource hog for me and I've been using it since version 4 :P
