i just got the car back today...cai was installed while it was there...sounds great and pulls harder when the turbo spools...but i parked in the driveway....drove around the block and when i came back i saw a puddle of fluid and i look under the car and its soaked in tranny fluid....so i get my car after TWO weeks and i cant drive it...tuesday morning they will send a tow truck and i will go to the dealer and get a rental or a loaner..****** sucks...i proly wont get m y car back for another week or so cuz they gota take the tranny out again...fuckn bulls*** and this is so bad...still love my car...

Make sure you find out why it was leaking this time. Mechanic error or ..... ??? Not that many shops would admit mechanic error so...
If a plausible cause is listed please let us know.

Hope you get to enjoy the car sometime soon.

wow bro, that sucks. you don't think it was just excess fluid that came out an over flow drain? if it was, the fluid more than likely just expanded and poured out of it? Or was did it look like the whole tranny just flushed itself?
Hope you get your car back soon. Nice to know your car pulls harder though!

Rememebr Mazda doesn't suck unless it concerns a defective design ie motor mount. The fact that your trany leaks is due to your particular dealership having a lack of decent mechanics.

Hell i had my motor mount break and well i would've hd the car back in a day if they had the parts. Plus a day was wasted waiting of the tech reps to come out and look at my car.

I have heard though that acquiring parts for the speed cars is a PITA.

Well; the dealers that carry the SPEED brands need to have in stock replacement parts just in case stuff like this happens. What good is it to sell SPEED vehicles and not be able to service them when the time comes. I guess the parts manager needs to start looking into things like this. Good luck with your tranny.

i would hope so, so i can drive the car sooner...but it seemed a bit excess for jsut a bit of over flow...arent these trannies sealed anyway?
someone told me there is a plug or some s*** to be able to check the fluid or something when i was stuck tryn to find dipstick for the tranny fluid.....maybe im wrong and he was too? and the car also made wierd noise at full steer left or right...like it was rubbing something...maybe jstu the new tranny winding down?

Try to keep your head up about it. I guess with a new car like this there are bound to be problems. Just why did it have to be yours right??

I hear you on that one. I have been there....making payments and not driving the car due to problems. :( I hope this gets taken care of for you quickly. :)

Sorry to hear that man...I hope all is well. Just be patient...when I got hit my car was gone for 3 months! You saw those pics...lol. You want the car to be right and unfortunately it takes time...

i found the source of the tranny leak...a bolt closest to the bumper facing the hood...i felt under the bolt and its the same fluid dripping from the bottom..maybe the seal is ****** or something......im going to point it out to my service rep...hopefully this is the only source of leak and this is what it looks liek to me....i have my fingers crossed for a 30min dealer visit...remove the bolt...refill fluid and rebolt the opening with a new bolt and seal
