Probably in the next two to three weeks, I will receive an estimated $1000 in scholarship money. I am thinking of upgrading my fuel pump, fuel rail, injectors, purchase an electronic AFC, and a front mount. I was wondering if someone could tell me of this is a right start or suggest something else.

since you already have exhaust i would def say get a fmic and an afc. That will be right around 1k or so depending on what fmic you get. I'd say get dsm's afc its a great deal and does the job.

man, they let you kids use scholarship money on car parts ? where have I been?

but yes. put it in the bank. you'll get more out of it there.

I don't think any of those upgrades to your fuel system would really be beneficial, besides an AFC. With a non-forged engine, I think the stock fuel system can handle anything you throw at it.

maybe he got a late scholarship and instead of having to pay that 1k he/she now has it as spending cash for whatever hed/shed like?

many people with built engines seem to be running stock fuel rail, some the stock pump, FPR, etc

get some kind of downpipe and midpipe to free up the exhaust. your catback is yielding minimal gains compared to what you could be getting with everything from the turbo back upgraded.

you already have the TH pipes - pick up the SMIC. very good gains there.

if you have money left, pick up the afc.

like peeps said, the stock fuel components are good for now.

ah yes. . .spending scholarship money on the car. . . .fun stuff. . what school you go to?

im hoping for a 1k scholarship due in oct. . ..pay off some old debt

Bunch the Cat, it's free and a massive HP/Spool gain.

good point! what a thought??? scholarship money=car parts...hmmm, should we wonder about the future of America? (LOL)
no offense, seriously.

But that doesn't make any sense. Shouldn't upgrading the fuel help the engine take a little more boost and not lean out? Also, what are some good FMICs for a good price?

The Fuel system can handle a bit extra boost with the designed headroom that is present.
