When will people learn, for every variable you put into a car (turbo, ic sprayer, dif tires, dif psi, etc) the runs become less and less predictable and less and less comparable to their brethren.

mspeed101- Well until the scamp gets back together the MSP gets drag duty every wednesday night (weather permitting). The sad part is I find it more interesting to run the MSP than the scamp ever was.....and now that I have the spare motor for the Mazda I keep working on it instead of working on the scamp (motors done, still working on the fuel system, battery relocation, new suspension, new seats, etc...). Maybe I'll make the scamp my daily driver and make the Mazda the track b****.

Jesus, I have never heard such an unsupportive group in my life. Did it ever cross your mind that not everybody drives exactly the same? So he runs a bit high in his 60'... who cares? ForceFed- ok, you've well established that you drive well. Stop criticizing him. You don't become a good driver overnight- it takes practice, and that's what he is doing.

I for one know that I am never posting any of my times- I didn't think that the people on this message board were such @#$@# about it. I'll be keeping my times to myself, because apparently everybody has a huge ego and can't believe it when people run times close to or better than theirs.

Who needs enemies when you have friends like these guys....

P.S.- SWEET TIMES MAN! You do have a badass msp.

I never criticized him...If I did..It was constructive.I merely said that with improve 60 footers that he would have had a killer run!I dont care if I would have broken out in a race...I would have kept the pedal to the floor on a run like that 13.7 one.I would have mashed it through the floor all the way through the trap if I felt that I was on route to my best time EVaR!
Thats just me though.And yes,I can drive and also never doubted his times,just that his number were showing what would equate to a low,low 13 second run which has yet to me acheived by a Street MSP.

i don't know s*** about racing but i can just tell by reading this that some of the numbers are out of whack.......if this is the case if you gave me a pair of drag radials i would be pulling similar times....but anyway, this situation can be solved with time slips and videos....

I want a video showing him racing , then getting out of the car holding 2 forms of ID with 3 friends to verify with ID. Then his grandmother should be there too to verify his ID and she needs to have ID also.

I'm having second thoughts about posting the times I will run this wednesday... After all the autocrossing I did this weekend I think I have a better handle on the car. Also I re-flashed the pcm, and am in the process of making a new spraybar for the Co2 sprayer.....

Hopefully I get better 60' times......I forsee either one of two things happening

1. mid-low 13's,
2. broken stuff......

Good luck.... Yeah i didn't doubt your times at all. I've gone to the track alot, and i've watched 2 different guys get 2 totally different traps and Reaction times etc, in the same car, and run practically the same 1/4 times. Plus with this cars hesitation etc....its going to be a little less smooth on paper than what most cars are going to run *on a normal* drag stip situation. I won't be posting any times i've ran in past or at Battle of the imports this coming up weekend 23rd. ***IF I get my 15" slicks*** They're rims from my friends wrecked NSX. These people are to critical, and i have no time to or resources to post slips. But i'm glad you did, OWnage
