hmm, with all these MSPs ditchin the lips maybe I should think about getting one for the P5...as much as I love my fogs I think the MSP lip looks great on a P5, and its not as low as a DG lip.

got mine from steph back when she was sellin them for 200, (approx 275 shipped), and the take off the other lip was a BASTARD because of like 2 screws i couldn't find (TRANSLATED:not hard at all, i'm just stupid), anyway yeah to be honest i think the fogs and no lip make the MSP look hard.

I have seen plenty of MSPs with the rear lip falling off. The double stick tape doesn't work very well. Take it to the dealer & tell them to fix it.

My lip is never going back on because I'm selling it. You can either buy the P5 fogs from someone selling them on here or pick up the PIAA fogs that are supposed to be better & cheaper (ask Bijou for details). All MSPs have the wiring, but you still need the fog brackets. I'd try to find someone selling them on here instead of going to the dealer because they will probably charge you out the ass for them.

looks good man, are you gonna wire the fogs with your headlights or have separate switches? I've never seen the p5 light switches so I don't know how they work either..

the PIAA's are the 40 model, and to wire mine temporarily all i did was plug that bad boy under the fuse, it worked fine, even blinked when i clicked the lock/unlock on the key fob

WARNING! if you buy the PIAA 40's GET ABOUT 5 washers for each bracket to point them down or else they will blind every single person you drive by, and EVERY SINGLE CAR ON THE ROAD WILL FLASH THEIR HAZZARDS! it SERIOUSLY get's annoying NOTICE THE CAPS! THAT IS HOW ANNOYING IT IS!

Not at all...the P5, MP3, & 03 MSP all have this same bumper & you don't theirs flying off on the highway. There are 2 extra places that bolt to the frame with the lip on, but I don't think it makes any difference. If nothing else, it's weight reduction & more air getting in until I put the fogs in.

I just took mine off last weekend and I love now all I have to do is get my wing removed and fill in the holes and then Ill be happy

Good thread. Being fairly new to the Mazda scene (wish I was before, I love this car) I never got a great look @ the front of an MP3. I saw on at the MTMA BBQ and noticed the front spliitter, does anyone have a decent-res pic of a mp3 stock nose? I want to see!!
