I FINALLY got my car back and now I've got boost!!!!! Woooohoooo! What a differance. Right now I only have 4 lbs of boost (my boost controller didn't come in yet:mad: ) and it still pulls pretty hard. I don't have my boost gauge yet either (I know, I know) but it looks like I start boosting at about 3200 rpm and get full boost at about 3500 to 4000 rpm. I will let you guys know exactly when I put my boost gauge in tomorrow or today for that matter.
But don't think that I got away with no problems. I think I have a slight vaccum leak some where. The car will idle but if I rev the car and it goes under boost, if I just let the rpm's drop the car will die out. What do you guys think?
By the way, the HKS blow off valve sounds BAD ASS! And to let you know the external wastegate is not that loud (I am dumping it into the atmosphere).
Hey Spoolin, just one suggestion. When you sell your new manifold with the external wastegate, sell it with an extra flange (for the wastegate) so that it is easier to weld the dump pipe. I will have pics, vids, and what ever else I can think of posted shortly! Aloha!
