Regarding the drivability of the vehicles; Obviously we can not speak directly to this application yet but in general we can say that in similar situations we have found that the the vehicles are much more responsive to the throttle position. The vehicle will accelerate much faster and will be effected by the engine brake factor. As this flywheel replaces the factory dual mass flywheel there may be an increase in the transmission noise level. This is normal because the heavy flywheel with the dampening system in the middle does absorb a lot of the noise. This however does not seem to be an issue with the performance enthusiast as long as they are aware of the fact that it will be there. A sprung hub clutch disc is recommended as they do help absorb some of the sound of the transmission and helps soften the clutch engagement.
Some of the vehicles that we have successfully replaced the dual mass flywheel are Corvette, Ford Focus, BMW, Porsche, Hyundai Tiburon, VW, Audi, Nissan 350 Z, and these are just a few.
