fiberglass box for mazda3

hey everyone i just started a fiberglass box for my 3. i had to make it in 2 pieces because it wouldnt fit in my trunk as one, and i didnt wanna be driving around smelling resin all the time. ill post more pics once i get it all bondo'd and painted. in the mean time lemme know what ya think. its gonna be painted the same color as the car (winning blue) (cool)

RIght on man, looks pretty sweet. I'm definately curious how the finishing process goes for you. are you planning on doing it yourself? I recently found a place here in town that'll color-match and load it into a spraycan for you complete with another can of clearcoat for it. That's a pretty sweet setup I was BLOWN away by some of the results. a body-shop friend of mine actually recommended it if I wanted to go-it alone. Said he's used it professionally for some smaller projects that don't necessitate tooling up an airgun and clenaing, etc...

haha yeah, some people didnt know what the hell i was talkin about when i said a fiberglass box, so i printed out that pic. after all, what better example to show them. lol

Poseur- yeah im going to do it myself and with the help of another guy. he works at a body shop so he can show me how to bondo and stuff and ill let him paint it.
