I'm not a big fan of show cars and the like, but there was some cool stuff there. I was quite happy to see the large showing of Proteges. The cool part was that it seemed as though the Protege crowd was the least riciest there, with the exception of Jolene's car, jk .

I initially went to the event just to see the drift exhibition. A friend of mine, Tony, piloted the black 240. I remembered that there were a few people from the board attending so I thought I'd go in to check out their cars and put some names to faces. And beleive me folks, Jo is as hot in person as she is in pictures .

Anyway, found within the pics are a few of the Proteges that showed, a few from the drift expo, and several miscellanious pics. The drifting was awsome. A local driver even used his daily driver Taurus and mixed things up a bit. I was very impressed how these guys drove. Talk about car control.

It was good to meet the folks that I spoke to. You seemed like a good bunch. I kind of wish I had brought my Protege, but oh well.

yeah it was a nice show. do u remember when the 240 and silvia were pretty much side by side while drifting. there was even a red 323 representing! i also saw dude taking it to the taurus, that was a trip.

The tandem drift was very impressive. Had I been out there doing that, I'd probably have run into everything in sight. The guy tearing it up in the Taurus was damn cool too. He did the entire show with his arm out the window as if it were nothing, lol.
