Spicy Orange Mazdaspeed Protege #1439
Tell me what you guys think. UPDATED!!! NEW PICTURE ZOOMED OUT!

The previous owner when putting the car on a trailer smashed the rear lip and messed up some of the exhaust, which is soon on the to do list.

After:

My dad and I fiberglassed the lip and after many days of sanding we painted it flat black but only a section that extended just past the hole for the exhaust. It kind of has a muscle car look which is where i got the idea because i didn't want to paint the whole lip black because that's been done.

looks good, not a bad choice. i heard somewhere before that the spicy orange and blazing yellow are difficult to match paint

you should post a picture of the whole back end to get a better view of what it looks like

Spicy and blazin are tri-coat colors and are harder to apply, a good painter should be able to make it look right though.

well yes we contemplated painting it, but the cost to repair and repaint the lip and blend it was like 800 dollars from a good body shop, soi thought the black with the mazdaspeed would look much nicer. Also the previous owner did debadge it but put these things that looked like bullets there as replacements, so I've purchased a black turbo emblem and was thinking of an idea for the other one. mazdaspeed is kinda redundant.

I guess the threads dead, but I was hoping for some advice on rear end and feedback on the rear lip and how it looks...

I've been wondering what it'd look like to do just the inside of what you did... the rounded sections that go around the exhaust on the the right and extends left... kinda like what a lot of the Pro5 guys have done. I like what you did too.

Looks pretty nice, not a super huge fan of the black being angled, but not sure how else to do it other than straight, and I think that would be more grrrrr to me.. But hey! Still looks nice, just perhaps; not for me with the angles. :D
