flat_black, i'd be curious to see what you can run with your mods.. topher, keep in mind the light flywheel is going to make it tougher to launch (as it tries to accelerate a lot quicker, traction is a b**** to deal with already in our cars) and it's also going to make it decelerate in between gears a lot quicker.. shift that baby as quick as you can!!

i'm curious to see what both of you can run.. topher, i hope you hit your goal of mid 15s.. that will be so sweet to see a N/A P5 run the mid to low 15s!!

ps: i ran the 16.08 with full interior.. spare tire & sub and everything..

Oh, that's one advantage I have; No subs or tweeters from the factory. My car is a first run car, MY02. I forgot to mention the braided stainless lines for the clutch and (doesn't really matter here) brakes, as well as the Clutchmasters Stage 1 Clutch. I always end up forgetting stuff when I type that out. =P I should save a list, for real. Hehe.

well, the flywheel wouldn't make it harder to launch nor will it slow the car down between shifts. simply because when you shift, the car is basically in neutral...and once you engage the next gear, it revs back up to where it should be. i may loose 200 rpms from a stock flywheel...but that doesn't slow the car down at all. i'll be running the same rpm's as a car with a stock flywheel once i engage the next gear. it doesn't make the car rev like an indy car like everyone believes...it's just slightly quicker. and top end is the s***.

that's cool then.. you would know since you have driven it before & after the flywheel.. i hope you can get the low 15s.. are you full interior?

I'm really interested in getting the unorthodox flywheel. is it worth it. how does it affect everyday driving. can you really notice a difference in acceleration? also how about the crank pulley. any difference there as well?

my car is my daily. it really doesn't affect daily driving at all...it pull REALLY hard in 1st and 2nd now. nice little mod. i bought mine from protegegarage.com those guys kick ass...the pulley will help lighten-up the other end of the crank. it's a nice little mod as well. you'll get maybe 2 out of the pulley...but it all adds up in the end.

10.2 in the 1/8th

Topher's going to haul some ass and I'll be there to see it.
