heyo. I'm new to the forums, new to this car in particular (mp3) and in general new to cars. Heres my experience so far:
-I'm 16. Im invincible, and can do anything I want
-I have replaced the water pump on a 1990 chevy suburban 454, which involved climbing INTO the engine almost
-I've replaced the valve cover gaskets on aforementioned suburban
-I think I'm experienced (I'm not)
So Ive been looking to cut the number of cylinders in half, double the acceleration and turn radius, and go holy-s*** fast around corners.
and to prove that I can beat my dads 23000$ BMW 528i in under 20 Gs. For starts, I figured a car that can handle real good off the block would be good. The MP3 tied with the porsche 911 turbo on slaloms at 70.something mph. thats holy-s*** fast. So now, how much would I have to spend to get a turbo with reasonable boost (13-16 psi) and modify the engine for full time use of that turbo, (all the time for commuting and such), including all the components? Bring on the forged steel, cause I'm ready. List your turbocharged dreamlist, so I have somewhere to start in my nefarious plans.
