what exactly do you want in a car? if your wanting to go fast (like rickie bobby fast) then i seriously wouldn't buy any mazda. Not to flame mazda (s*** I love the company) but all of thier cars are under powered. They dont spend thier R&D money and time on HP and strait line power. They spend it all in taking curves. If your wanting a car to drag race your friends on friday nights look into another copmany, If your wanting something to have a lot of fun driving and take out many many many stock cars in a corner, then mazdas are the thing for you. I loved my mp3 that I had. I wish I still had it. The Mazdaspeed protege is a turbo version of the MP3 basically if you didn't already know. And if your willing to spend 10k you can most likley find a mazdaspeed. 7k is i would think a good solid priced mp3. ive seen a few cheaper (probably more miles) but ive seen some more expensive lately. So its a good price.

I am located in CT. I think my car was linked in a earlier posted in this forum. My car is still for sale. Forum Member TommyBDragon has seen the car and test drove it in late July. Any concerns or questions you could probably get an unbaised review from him. Anyways, I would be willing to meet up so you can take a look.

The MP3 is very good at handling, it can go through Road and Track's Slalom course, cornering at the same speed as a porsche 911 turbo.
