i have seen those cars when i went to watch the shoot in downtown miami last tuesday. they were filming in front of the new american airlines arena. got them all on video too. they even put tireflys on the supra. and the back tirefly just did not want to cooperate. during the first shot, "mia" was driving the pink del sol/s200 or whatever and while crossing the intersection hit the bottom front of the bumper into the road. i was a block away and you could still hear it. the roads in downtown miami suck ass. all those people down there instead of using the tax money for improvements, pocket it. send them to afghanistan anyways we are off topic now.

I believe that the reason F-&-F was such a hit movie was because people saw normal import cars that were rigged with all these performance goodies...(even if the people in the movie didn't know wtf they were talking about)...anyways seeing the cars in that picture...it looks as if they are moving up a notch in the car choices....while in the original there were civics, eclipses, an integra...yadda yadda now they have honda s2000s, toyota mr2s, skylines, and all these cars are very expensive and I'm sure most of the people in the target audience that this movie is aimed at...(males between ages of 18-30) can't afford such cars....don't hold me on this, the movie might be entertaining and such, but with all these high priced cars they are using, except the fact that people will see this movie because it's the sequal I don't see much coming of this in the performance, auto buying parts aspect.

It was the ability of the first movie that showed regular joe's the idea that "hey I could do that to my car" which made it such a great "hit"....now they'll be saying...."yeah right I can't even afford that car who cares"

Hmmm don't know if I agree with that. Brian Spilners original car in the movie was a hugely modified Eclipse...didn't they say in the movie "a 60,000 dollar car" or something along those lines? It then gets replaced by a Supra. Vin Diesels car was a RX7, one of the gang drove a Skyline and the asian guy(sorry I can't remember anybody's name right now) does drive an S2000 with a tricked out engine.

Yeah I know they had a few expensives in the movie.....it doesn't matter how much was put into the eclipse....it's just that is was an eclipse and many people own cheap versions of it.....there were a few like the supra and rx-7, but those were just a few in the movie....so far all we've seen for the next movie are expensive models.

how bout some taste and modesty. Every f & f car has tacky side graphics and huge spoilers. PS Ditch the fireflys they are GAY!!
My dealership that i work for (H&H Chevrolet) does f&f cavaliers. They would look decent w/ out the side graphics. But the powers at be just cant get past the lingering stench of the movie that screams tacky ugly rice straight out gay side graphics. Just an opinion i HAD to share.

who cares how riced out the skyline and the lancer evo are in the movie, they still run 12's out of the factory, and will kick the crap out of most of our cars. so i say they can be riced out with neons and s*** cus they can back it up.
