How many people are interested in the folding mirrors. The price estimate is $200 to $250.
Installation requires rewiring and there is a dash switch that needs to be mounted.
Not sure of time frame to get these.
Auto EXE also has the mirrors with the signals (25000Yen) but i'm not a lighting fan so I don't know the availability.

ive never seen this on the autoexe site or other japanese sites.
that would be cool if u could get a picture of the actual product for us on a sport20/familia.

peace

yeah like L8R said... and the auto exe w/ signal lights? i better (google) cuz ive never seen 'em

in the interest thread from corksport, this was one of the things they were gonna make available. contact them and see what's up

well i rechecked two sites and found nothing.

if u really want jdm-type mirrors, this would be your best bet for half the price

but...
"All mirrors shown below are universal, however the brackets used to attach the mirrors are car specific. The mirrors attach to the brackets first and then the brackets attach to your door with the supplied hardware. Drilling of new holes into your door are required for the installation of our mirrors."

Thanks I checked out the erebuni mirrors but all the ones I like have lights.
I want the power folding ones, I understand if you keep hitting the button real fast the mirrors will act like little bumble bee wings and you can fly over traffic. There is alot of traffic where i live so this would be helpful.

FYI, from what I understand Japanese mirrors will be biased for RHD use. That is to say that their left hand mirror is angled in more towards the car (like our right hand mirror).

If you want to get power folding mirrors that will work for LHD, you would need to get Taiwanese spec - or another market that is LHD and has a power folding mirror option.

Let me know, cause I'd be interested.

I've been interested in these for a while. I'm actually looking for the heated ones that fold. Corksport has the ones that auto fold but are not listed on their site I emailed them. They cost $210 USD EACH !!

The mirrors that I am looking for where available for the 4WD sport20 S-wagon according to this news release from Mazda http://www.mazda.com/publicity/release/9908/990803e.html. They are heated and fold electronically which is a must for anyone who parks inside a garage or in downtown imo.
