Factory warrenty?

Some dealerships are jackoffs and will void it if you put on a different oil filler cap and others are cool with with just about anything as long as it didn't cause the problem the car is having. The only way to know for sure is you should probably go to your dealership and talk with the service manager and see what they say.

the only thing they can void is a failure DIRECTLY related to the aftermarket part being installed if not approved or installed under warranty by the dealership.
example: you put new motor mounts in and engine falls from bay = not covered, but if you put in new motor mounts and turbo fails.. they cant void turbo warranty due to new mounts.
make sure you understand your rights as a consumer
