Factory Subwoofer

i'm new to the forum and to the mazda family. im just curious as to where the factory subwoofer is located. thanks

The MSP does not have a dedicated sub woofer, what it has is an aftermarket amplifier, which is located under the rear deck and is accessible from the trunk.

All MSPs came with a sub. The sub enclosure is what the amp is mounted to, under the rear deck.

the MSP has an amp deck that holds the amp and 8 '' sub. It is mounted to the top of the trunk. I would take a pic but I removed mine a long time ago and got a 12'' sub and a better amp because I blew two subs fairly quickly. If yours does not have anything mounted to the top of the trunk, the previous owner may have removed it. I attached a pic of a MSP with the amp deck installed...the amp would be on the left and the sub would be on the right. You won't see them unless you actually stick your head in the trunk and look up at them. This is the only pic I could find with one installed. The pic is kind of crappy.
