I don't like the front at all. I like the rims though. And I agree with the above, it does look better in the lowered pic.

That Mazda front bumper/mesh grille smiley design looks familiar (lol2), oh, and good bye round fogs...

All in all, good enough facelift to notice it from miles, but subtle enough to keep the original RX-8 design well alive.

I like it. To me, it looks better than the current RX-8. (nothing personal altspace) I agree with that a factory intalled turbo would be great.

Not sure the exact name, but yes it's an all new color for the 8. Also note that this has many Japan spec only features that we may not see here in the US. Though from what I have read the RS version featuring the body kit and 19" rims will make it over.

why are big rims always a feature? They weigh more = more unsprung weight + more difficult to accelerate and slow down

because they are trying to appeal to the bigger market...the market for people who want larger rims for appearance is greater than those that think about how the size/weight of the rims affect performance...
