that wouldnt be a "loss" it would be what you paid for it. If you want to be a profiteer, i suggest selling on ebay. not many members here are willing to get ripped off (check out the PS3 thread in the FS section). Also i have been to a few stores today that have them in stock. Nintendo sent alot more than idiot Sony Corp.

My intent was not to rip people off. I put a price out there and said it was negotiable. I paid just about $400 for everything. I wasn't intending on buying one this morning but my friend asked me to tag along so he could buy one. Like I said if I don't sell it I will just keep it.

Since when is paying MSRP a rip off?

Also, yes, he WOULD be losing money since he paid tax on the thing. Not to mention the fact htat he probably waited in line for hours to get the thing.

there will be 4 million consoles available for the US. next shipment coming in a week or so. far more than the 400,000 PS3s available. btw, the PS3 got horrible reviews.

ya ebgames is suppose to b getin some on black friday. but no point of waiting in line for that. they are making 4 million units and are going to be here before next year. so sometime from now to end of december. they say it should be here on time for christmas.
