Dual Aeroforce Interceptor Scan gauge setup for 2007 MazdaSpeed 3
Black face, silver bezel, red display
Best match for MazdaSpeed dash gauges
Display can be either red on black background (shown) , or reversed black on red background.
Both gauges initialize with custom electronic MAZDASPEED logo
Gauge serial numbers:
CN 401 IV 3.3
CN 402 IV 3.3
Mearcat (in Australia) Mazda 3 double gauge pod made from heavy fiberglass drilled with 52mm holes.
The pod is a perfect match for the shape for the LH forward corner of the dash.
Pod painted semi flat dark grey by Mearcat to match the Mazda grey plastic of the main dash.
Dual 52mm angled gauge visors, also painted to match.
The two cables run next to the A pillar & behind the rubber gasket, then behind the lower instrument panel piece. A small hole was drilled in the back of the rectangular slot to pass the cables to the OBD2 plug in. (See pictures). No other wiring required. Very simple installation.
The pod was placed on two velcro strips, to allow easy removal & access to the inspection sticker. Velcro on all 4 sides is not necessary. The velcro adhesive is easily removed with adhesive removal solvent, or something similar, leaving no residue.
The entire setup is easily removed & leaves no trace, except for the one small hole in the lower panel previously mentioned.
The Scangauge can monitor many parameters. Each gauge can display two parameters, so two gauges can monitor 4 parameters at once.
I had mine set to monitor fuel rail pressure, air/fuel ratio, vacuum/boost pressure, and intake air temp.

My car is a USA car, delivered to Texas. These gages are CN series as supplied by Aeroforce for this application & work fine with my car.
Comes with dual cable, extra 3 wire mini cable (not required) , Quick Start user manual (full manual can be downloaded from the website) & new 3M Scotchmate 1" hook & loop velcro strips. The 3 wire mini cable is used on some car models to turn the gauges on & off properly. It is not needed on the Mazda.
