ok, if you read part 1 (in the protege5 forum), this is what happened while i was at the gas station filling up.............

im filling up the p5 with gas and a truck pulls up. a guy opens the passenger side door (leaves it open) and stumbles over to me mumbling. he was asking me if i knew where any strip clubs were. he is standing about 7 feet away from me but i can smell the alcohol. i told him i didnt know of any cause i dont go to them.

so then he stumbles into the gas station to ask the cashier. at that time the driver is leaning over the passenger seat asking me for directions and i can tell he is wasted. plus i can see 2 open beer cans in the cup holders because the passenger left the door open.

the cashier gave the guys directions and they left. so it took me about 2.5 seconds to make the decision to call the police and report them. i gave the police a plate number, truck description, and direction they were headed.

say what you want, but i couldnt live with myself if i would have read the newspaper and found out that they killed someone, especially if i could have stopped it. i feel good about what i did. i know the guy is going to have a shitload of legal trouble if he got pulled over, but i dont give a s***. i have no sympathy for dumb ***** who get tanked and then decide its a good idea to drive home. people need to learn and i hope he does (if he got caught).

right on man, people have to learn if they are gonna drink they have to do it responsibly. if they arent willing to pay for their actions they shouldnt do it. this is one small reason why i will never drink, or for that matter do anything. i will stay clean 4 ever

Yea, it will be great going to your grave knowing that you never did anything. why be alive?

I would have done the same thing. Good for you!

As a life-commited designated driver for Greg, I have NO tolerance for this kinda s***. I always either don;t drink or only have one and give myself a few hours before I have to drive us home. Greg loves to get wasted and I knew fully when we got married that it would be my responsibility to ensure him a safe ride home.

I only drink maybe a few times a year. And really it's also because if I get the urge to go for a midnight ride, I wanna be able to just go, not wait till I am sober. Drinking dulls your senses too, even when you're not drinking. I prefer to keep most of my brain cells in tact. :)

Just my opinion.

:wtf: Why be an ass? I've done probably a lot more than you would even hear about, but yet I'd do the exact same thing. And I no longer do those things, not even drink.

People make choices; their own choices. I decided to do some things I'm not proud of, but at the same time, I'm not ashamed of either.. Yet I'm not an ass to other people for not doing those things.

Your ignorance is extremely annoying and aggravating. Maybe one day you'll grow up and realize that. Mayybe you'll also learn that you don't have to get ****** up to "enjoy" life.

Thanks for playing.

man there is so much more to life than doing that stupid stuff. i just dont see the purpose of any of it. why would you want to do something your not even going to remember? and if you do do something and get caught, end up behind bars or even killing someone, you know you will be saying, "Man i knew i shouldnt have done that or......" so why even put yourself in that position?

I like funny pictures

Im not trying to start a war here by posting this, but i just wanted to say, i dont know why so many people look down upon people who smoke pot or drink? it doesnt always lead to bad things. Thats like looking at the rice burners who give imports a bad rep. The hard core crack heads, and alchoholics are the people who make the people who just smoke pot or drink a beer to have a good time a bad rep. For example, is street racing leagal? No, but im sure 99% or everone on this fourm has done it at least once... I Don't really drink or smoke that much anymore because i got arressted, but i couldnt imagine living without at least trying it before i bad mouth it. You guys let the goverment brain wash you, the only reason it is illegal is because the goverment used lied about its negaitive effects, calling it more harmful then it auctually is, and morons like you belived it,... whatever i dont really give a s***, :D

i dont do it for other reasons, it has nothing to do with government and brainwashing. it has to do with doing what is right, wanting to have eternal life, knowing my body is a temple and doing nothing to harm it. but we wont get into that. i just think that not doing it is the right thing to do. i have seen WAY too many peoples lifes get ruined because of these things. and im not saying i look down on anyone who does it by any means. i just want to let them know there are better things to do on friday nights than go get trashed or stoned. anyways lets not get a big war started.

no1stunna, I don't want you to take this as a personal attack, and I don't mean to offend anyone, but I am always curious when I run into people who share similar opinions to yours what they mean. Im sure you have carpeting, paint, use soaps and detergents, electricity, sit in front of computer monitors, expose themselves to plastic off gassing and toxic fumes as they drive their cars. All these things create harm to your body is a temple and all are mostly avoidable should one choose to live a life without modern conveniences away from populated areas. And while Im no biblical scholar, I believe even Jesus drank wine. Anyways, to my actual questions that I ask people with similar ideas to yours, How do you decide what items to avoid to prevent doing nothing to harm it (body as a temple). What makes alcohol and pot, both produced by Mother Nature herself, more harmful and needing greater avoidance, then plastic and the by products of the internal combustion engines?

Again, I dont mean to flame anyone, Im just curious.

well for one, alcohol, drugs of that nature are all something that you can choose to, or not to do. these have, as everyone knows, taken and ruined lives. this is one reason not to use these to harm your temple, i mean have you hear of computer monitors taking lives? how about soap or detergent? no, i guess it comes down to your morals and spiritual level. its a good question im just not real sure how to word it. all i can say is i can limit the ways my body are harmed, and by not smoking drinking shooitng up or anything like that i know i am making my best effort to please the man who died for me so i can have the eternal life he promises.

Pot has not ruined lives. When I worked at a club and got into the scene there, there are many more drugs out there that do more harm than pot. I, myself, have tried many drugs. I've never shot up and haven't smoked anything other than pot and cigarettes. I've seen both sides to the story, as I used to be a police explorer and was so "anti drug" it was unbelievable. Then I worked there and tried some things to experience them.

Things I've learned by doing the drugs have been both positive and negative, but seeing as how I'm planning on being a cop in another four years (delayed because of drug use) I quit everything. My dreams of being a cop were being destroyed because I was staying up on meth and snorting lines of coke every night at the club.

Staying up for 13 days straight on tweek was one hell of an experience, but it's not what life's about. Having a steady relationship with a gorgeous woman is what life is about. Seeing the sparkle of spicy orange mica under the light is what life is about. I hope some of you realize that.

(And no, I'm not an old guy preaching to you all. I'm 21.)

Good job. I myself would have grab called the police right there and the pull the keys out of the truck. Then if they would have gotton stupid, Iwould have knocked the s*** out of both of them and wait for the cops to get there.

Again good job. You maybe saved someone's life including them.

ok, pot has ruined lives. i know several people, one was in my class. this kid was a genius, he knew everything. he could have been a college professor or something. he got hooked on pot, didnt graduate, and now walks around town wondering where he will sleep next, bumming money off people to get his next stash and so on. im no genius but i would say that ruined his life. another guy, was high and robbed a gas station, served four years behind bars and is on probation for ever. his life is totally ruined right now. so i would say YES pot can and will ruin lives. i guess i dont see peoples sides who say pot is harmless, legalize it. yeah, lets have pot at recess, pot at concession stands, drive throughs with pot......i dont get it. i also dont get the "oh but its natural, god made it so its ok" im lost on that one. im gonna quit rambling now before i piss someone off. im just saying that with the experiences i have had in my life i choose not to touch anything of this nature, and i have very strong feelings about it also. sorry if i pissed anyone off, didnt mean to.
