good citizen.

this reminds me of a tale of mine.

about a year ago i traded some things my ex-girlfriend gave me at a pawnshop for a broken black jackson guitar. i couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so i took apart the back panel to have a look at the wiring.

inside the compartment i found some meth and some papers on how to make it. instead of smoking it and cranking out some crank i called the police and reported it.

sucky thing is they had to take my s*** guitar for evidence, boo......

i pried apart the

What it basically comes down to is if you do drugs or drink just do it responsibly. In moderation pot and alcohol are not bad for you. Sometimes when I come home from a hard days work there is nothing like smoking a nice joint and just relaxing. When it gets to the point where your drug or alcohol intake is affecting your personal life or other people then you know you are going to far and you should quit. It is the same with something like gambling. In moderation it could be a fun way to waste some time but if you let it get a hold of you you can lose everything.

I've been on both sides, never doing 'anything' (through the end of highschool,) and, for a lot less of my life, done my share of boozin', even (smoke) a little.

Being on both sides I didn't really (don't really) have a problem with being either way. I don't understand why some of you people put down those who don't want to drink or use substances.

anyways....

Friday, I went to lunch with two friends of mine. The girl who was driving us around said she was gonna order a margartia. I asked, "so who's gonna drive?" She immediately started to defend herself by saying, "it's just one drink, it'll be okay by ..." etc. There were two other people there.... I said I was gonna ride the bus home, and was very stern about it. I guess she decided not to order a drink...

Was I right to make a fuss about it?? I mean, maybe she would have been alright, but to me, it's the principle of everything:(

Hmm, good question. I wouldn't have minded. With more than two margaritas, I wouldn't let the person drive. Namely because you were eating, which would probably take an hour. Your body typically "burns off" about a drink per hour. Of course this also depends on weight, metabolism etc. Also depends how big the margaritas were.

I'm glad protejay5 did what he did. I've driven wasted once late at night. Luckily there was nobody else on the road. I felt so horrible for doing it and have not done it since (2 years). I will never step foot in a car like that again. Not only could I screw somebody else's life over, I would screw mine up as well. Very stupid, and I was very lucky. I get sick thinking about it.

As for pot, I think pot is a lot less dangerous than alcohol. I don't know about others, but when I occaisonally smoke, the last thing on my mind (and all of my friends who do it) is stepping into a car. We pretty much just sit around, get in deep talks, watch movies, make music on the computer, and have some damn good laughs.
