I come down to my car this afternoon, I last parked it last night, I come down, and my back bumber is scrathed soo badly it's beyond repair, 1 and a half foot section of it scratched like crazy. People in this province cant drive for s***. I dont even have my car for 4 weeks and she's devirginised.

Anyway how much does a new bumper cost for a GT w/GFX package painted in Lapis Blue?

FUCKKKKK!!!!!!!!

I'm really sorry just had to rant like a b****

WTF another Blue 6! I swear people bust be breaking their necks to look at our blue cars to the point they run into them...(dunno) Come back down here to hell...er us man...

My claim should be finnished in a week or so hopefully!

My insurance wont cover s*** cause my deductible is 1000 bucks, called the police anyways and he said he will speak to the insurance if we need him to to put his 2 cents worth. He believes my side, and broken pieces of the other car was left on the street, if I find the tard I will **** him or her. My car, nothing broke off, just looks like s*** right now. And I cant G-d damn wait to fix it.

In the mean time, ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH A BUMPER FOR MY CAR COSTS, REAR BUMPER?

Actually, this is one thing I do get concerned about regarding the Mazda2, 3, and 6.

I don't know if this applied to your situation, but the reflectors on the back bumper are not only very down low, but also very thin. Many people who are not paying 100% attention may not see it (especially as these reflectors are typically in the taillights - so much higher up). And of course, if they don't see it, they may just drive into the back of a parked Mazda2/3/6 on the street at night.

I know why Mazda did this (for better looking taillights), but this is an example of form over function (and there are several other examples with new-gen Mazda's).

Obviously this is not something that would make me not buy these cars (I knew about it before I got my Mazda3), but something I'm aware of whenever I park my car on the street at night (I try to park below a streetlight or something like that).

Sorry if I come off a litle agressive here, but HOW HE **** can you not see a shiny blue Mazda 6 on a perfectly well lit street even though it's night time, you have to be really drunk sick or dead to not see anything in this city at night, and the severity of the scratch is ridiculous. I can understand a small bump but I wish I had a digi cam to show you. Sorry for the loud rant, I am just in an extreme horrible mood.

yeah once headlights hit the metalic paint...that side only shows up...purple instead of blue

P.S. My car IS NEVER PARKED ON THE STREET IN THE HOUR OF DARKNESS. People can't drive here for sheiot and even with their hi beams on they still run into the back of people?

All the streets in Montreal are clearly lit up. I dont have parking garage, I really want to know how much a rear bumper costs. Your car looks really good with the clear lights by the way.

might wanna al parts dept where you are...I beleve that might be one of those canadian made parts IIRC ....only manual I can find online is the jdm ones and that would require removal of rear structural support beam to fit (NOT RECCOMENDED).

The bimper still has it's shape but the paint for a 2 foot section is just gone and the bumper is grooved soo deeply the s*** that makes the bumper is all over the place. I think some drunk punk last night was soming out of there parking spot and just ****** my car as they were going out, only way it could have happened the rear and left side of the bumper is just ****** up severely.

yeah as stated before lapis is reflective in low beam and brigher lighting....I hate when people fawk up other peoples stuff and try and cover it up like "oh just a scratch deductable should cover it cause you got insurance right?" I learned the hard way when I had got rearended in my other car 2 days prior to trade in for this. The insurance card lokked real as all get out but when I called that numbers didn't exist and plates came back no record found in police listing! I'd immagine a painted rear sport facia might run at the least $700 and up before dealership steps in and rapes you with their markup and instal.

Went to Mazda today and they said excatly what I said. Needs new bumper. 645 CAD tax inluded installed. I'm soo pised off, I am going to get it done at the next oil change. I needed to have a couple of beers to cool off yesterday, it's the only thing that helped me keep my sanity. My blood pressure must have gotten 5 times higher when I saw the s*** on my car.

damn Mikey, that sucks monkey balls dude :( A buddy of mine had a problem similar to yours, but his was intentional and on his MP3 so he got one those pager security systems that has like a 3km radius, if your car is being ****** with you pager goes off, and it works really well. Its sensetive, but not like those security systems that a loud muffler will set it off.

I'm going to install one, little costly (350-400 CAD) but you dont wanna take that chance. Atleast you might catch those assholes next time it happens.

Moe.

I'm feeling a lot better now, I gave my car some TLC today, went to go buy some new car cleaning materials 40 bucks worth, bought some nice soap which is just amazing, it would clean everything not a spec of anything left on the car and it was really dirty, I must ad I have a prssure wash as well. Anyways, it felt really good washing her and seeing her shine like the day i got her under the lights at the gas station. Shined her shoes as well, put some tire shine so it's all good at least for now. I swear I am keeping a baseball bat in my car from now on, litteraly, I find the tard smacking all the cars on are street, 4 accidents to other cars in one weekend I will beat the living daylights out of that tard.

don't get caught....I knew the american in you would shine thru!

LOL, yeah man, I got my hands on a digi cam so I am taking pictures of my car this week-end. Gonna wash it again and shine her shoes. I'll upload the pics Monday or Tuesday evening.

I just noticed another car on my street with a smacked bumper on the same spot as me, I am sure there is this tard with a s*** box car simply having fun smacking cars, one car on the street got side swiped.

one an off day you seriously need to do servailance and see who the focktard is...he needs to loose his driving privildges if he already hasn't. I hate that every car I own was hit! 1st car was in 5 mph rush our traffic 3 days before trade in and this car was hit in a parkinglot 10 days after purchase.
