ExHaust Systems!!! But POWER???

I was always under the impression that the Racing Beat catback exhaust was the better exhaust for the mp5 performance and sound wise?

Yeah, I really like the sounds and gains from the K&N Typhoon and Racing Beat combo. It just makes it feel like a whole different car.

Most people agree that the RB exhaust is top notch. Magnaflow ain't that far off either. The main difference is the sound - Magnaflow is louder and deeper. I really like it.

The difference in horsepower is probably .00032whp. If turbo, the difference is probably more around .00322whp.

Gotchya. So if im not into really loud exhaust but want a nice gain and just a over all deeper tone the Racing beat would be up my ally?

yea. Magnaflow isn't so much loud as it is a deep grumble.

Thanks Guys im going to head toward out-handling The civics and not beatting them off the line.

thats not necissarily true. our cars have pretty good gearing from the factory when it comes to bottom end, thats why our cars stock can keep up with more powerfull cars with only "98whp" as far as your question, I would talk to twilight, because right now he has a pretty fast N/A p5 and if you want power without boost , then hes the one to talk to. I personaly am goin to get the corksport power series axleback and bolt it strait to my awr header. it will be strait flow powa baby!(burnout)

you should look at megan racing exhaust...some one here posted sound files of theres and it sounded similar to the magnaflow...not as deep, but pretty dan close...just a thought
