well im not gonna lie im 17 and i want my car loud.... lol

i put a header on first, and it really didnt change the sound at all....

then today i put a 2.5 catless midpipe on, and it sounds a lot deeper, and exactly how i like it, just not loud...

would replacing the resonator with 2.5 make it noticeably louder?

i take it you have the stock cat-back? i know a guy with an apex 2.5" cat-back for sale that should do the trick...let me look-up his SN.

i have the same setup you do... and i love it... if you get to small of a resonator your car will rasp... which IMO sounds like ass

just curious... what is the purpose of a resonator? i always see ppl removing them. and the resonator is the part that's fatter then the pipe right?

Resonators are made to either quiet the exhaust of change the tone of the exhaust without affecting exhaust flow (or affected at a minimum). People are removing resonators to get louder without buying an aftermarket exhaust. I have seen this backfire on some vehicles, including my friend's jeep that now sounds like a GSX-R. I know that on the MS3 they hide noises that a lot of us like, including engine burbling and stuff, but different cars and different engines are going to sound differently.

any way you could get a sound clip? I want mine to sound deeper than it is now... and I just have the OBX header installed.
