GOT AN EMAIL FROM GREDDY AND THIS IS WHAT IT SAID...

...Since the Mazdaspeed protege is a turbocharged vehicle I would assume that the exhaust systems had to be changed in order to support the additional exhaust flow produced by the turbocharger. I would just check the part numbers from the manufacturers for the parts in the exhaust system after the catalytic converter to see if they are the same...

THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF TESTING THE SP EXHAUST ON THE MP3.

stock im guessing, the only piece that should be different would probaly be the down pipe..... if i think thats the piece. the piece that has both cats on the msp exhaust. that should be the only difference. if u find the exhaust for cheaps, then buy it go to muffler shop n have them fix the remaining piece missing. im pretty sure they are both different exhaust system from a msp to a mp3

ya, that should work..... the points where they mount on should be about the same. i no for a fact the back does fit for sure. if u live near hoston, i think mp3architect has one. mayb if u ask nicely hell let u hear it haha.
