The more of these low-priced pocket rocket cars they bring over here, the higher the teenage-auto-fatality rate will rise.
I'm sure its fun to have a fast car like the EVO, but when 16-17 year olds start cutting you off on the highway and driving like maniacs...I know I personally would rather see them stay in Japan and off our streets.
I know there are plenty of domestics that fit into this category too, but most parents aren't going to buy their kids a Cobra when they ask for a Mustang....most fatalities probably occur in the base model V6 stangs and camaros.
I'm just saying this cause almost every EVO and WRX I have seen on the road has been driven by someone under the age of 25. You don't see people in that age bracket driving M3s, Porsches, and Audi S4s....which have comparable performance ratings, and you won't see the accident rate increase on those cars either, because the people driving them have learned respect for the road.
