Hey guys,did you guys hear about the new Evo that is coming out.Mitsubishi says that it is 88 lbs. lighter than the regular EVO VIII due to the lack of the huge wing and AC.Also the mirrors and door handles are not the color of the body,just black.It'll come in 2 colors though(red and white).But the cool thing is that it'll be sold for less than 27 grand and it's still going to have the same hp as the VIII.

They also took out all kinds of refinments such as sound deadening materials, the a/c which was previously stated, and I believe the stereo is optional??? Anyway it's in last month's Motor Trend. I don't have a scanner, but it's there... I'll look on www.motortrend.com to see ifI can find it

I've often removed AC from cars without much hassle....I live in Bama and it's hotter here than there in summer. We have our 100* days with 80% humidity!!
Those extra .6 tenths will do a lot to cool you down when you cruise with the windows down!!
