What about the dealer inflation??? They are probablly gonna be limited production. So they might just be as expensive as the standard EVO

i doubt there will be inflation, the evo's they have now aren't selling well, and this is marketed towards a very specific crowd, so getting the projected 700 people in that crowd to pay the money is going to be hard enough

If you look at the 0-60mph in the EVO 8 they say 5.0 sec. Whereas the WRX = 5.2!

Yeah.. one minute they are saying 13.0 and now 13.5! It makes you wonder the conditions and the drivers.

then this car isn't really aimed at you. it's aimed at the people who are going to buy it and strip it down more, just mitsubishi can't legally get it down any more and still sell it in the US. it's a very select group they're targetting, i.e. rally drivers, race teams, etc... or people with way too much money to go blowing on a track car they're not really for daily driving

you can get the Evo RS w/ what mitsu calls the "urban jungle package" = power windows, ac, stereo. the evo just doesn't look the same w/o the huge wing...but that's what makes the RS mysterious, cunning, and stealthy !

It kinda makes the car more of a sleeper w/o the wing,which is cool.
