Man so many people are hating on me for doing this project... As you can see from the pictures I took- we spent some long hours in the parking lot doing this. Not to mention the FIG welding machine we had to buy and learn to use.

Too bad, You should have known you were going to take alot of heat for killing off an MP3 in a pretty dumb way.

You know what- forget racing. I'll tell you the truth. I ENJOYED tearing apart the MP3 to make it into an evo. I loved eery second of it- and if you can't deal with it- that that's your problem!!!!!

granny shifting not double clutchin like you should... just remember, you can have any beer u want... as long as its a corona....

ha!

i think its a dumb idea but its not my money...

going to english class, word.

to whom it may concern:

this is the most frustrating, yet somehow alluring, thing I've ever experienced

sincerely,

yo mama

I really wish I wasn't hated on so much for this. I mean, the FIG welder has to weigh 50lbs. at least. Then we had to split the headlights in half for the 2/3rd front end conversion.

Can't a guy catch a break?

Scott,

Do you still talk to the guy in Tucson who bought your MP3?

guys don't be hating, he did a good job in conversion, nice and clean he must have put lot of work into it, can't even imagine how he transfered the tint, must have been the hardest thing to do, good job man, i'm about to convert my lx to H2, will let u know how it works out.

peace

Thanks.... Yeah we didn't want to ahve to pay for tint AGAIN, so we just heated it up and peeled it all off- and then put it on the new windows.

And what Beau was referring to was the fact that I sold a lot of the MP3 "parts" to a guy in Tucosn.

yeah i know, i bought some of them too remember, though i had to sell them again, i mean whats the point of having them if i'm doin h2 convresion.. right??

peace

The two main reasons its frustrating for me is that you could have sold your MP3 for 10K and with the 30K you had sitting around for this conversion bought an evo and still had enough left over to mod the EVO. And an MP3 is just GONE

Ya, but that wouldn't be a project. That's too easy. My dad and I wanted something hard. Plus he had already ordered the FIG welder and the tool we used to cut the headlights in half.

Well ya dude- that was one of the hardest parts. For a while there I was driving with half HID and half standard bulbs. I'm surprised I dind't get pulled over for it. Luckily I only had to drive like that for a month or two.
