Hey Ya'll I finally got some pics of my car form HIN Charlotte. They are not the best but I finally get the chance to shwo off my new turbo setup

Now I don't know how many of you have ordered stuff from essential speed but I must remind you that they build everything by hand so it take a little bit longer than most places. It has been more then worth the wait to get the final product.

seat are from Apex performance also. A very good company to work with and very good prices

I have the 4 point strut tower brace from them coming in soon also I'll show you what that looks like when i get it

They don't build the STB(CP racing does), and it took ES over a month after I paypalled them to send it....with no instructions, hardware or returned emails.

Congrats on boosting your car, though! (drinks)

EDIT: Here's a pic and a how-to for installing the CP Racing brace. :)

I understand completely. Good luck

Warning:keep a look out on that manifold wastegate set-up. There is a lot of heat generated in that area. The fact that the wastegate/manifold/turbo are all bolted together without a flex section could induce major cracking because of rigidity

yah, the setup looked pretty interesting to me. can't see to clearly but is there any support braces underneath the manifold or anywhere else for the setup? i wanted to get a manifold/wastegate/downpipe combo that could reroute the dumptube back into the regular exhaust stream. wagner has a setup similar but doesn't have a log type manifold and has a seperate pipe extending out for the wastegate (example the EVO 8 SS mani).

No there are no support braces on the mani, and yes there is a lot of heat created. I need to get me one of them DEI turbo bonnets to try and help that

No my fender wasn't repainted its stock. I might be getting paint though soon. we'll see I need tires first.

Oh I already replaces all of the bolts on the turbo. It originally came with Brass nuts so they wouldn't freeze but with the motor mounts they just striped themselves. So i replaced them all with ss bolts. I talked to Kevin and they said they would use different nuts if you tell them you have the mounts. Since the new bolts have been put in the only probelm I've run into is that I damaged one of the wastegate gaskets during re installation so I need to get a new set. Oh well thats its onlt a small leak I'll get it fixed soo enough.

nice pics :)

there are some on carandmodel.com i believe. i saw your car and ghost's.
