Enlisting

Well since this is something for me I thought I would share with you guys. I am taking a month to get in shape again, then gonna be enlisted to either be a medic or go infantry. I still haven't decided. Medic would be something better in the long run and is in the field I wanna be in. My goal is to get a mitsry career as a medic then become an EMT and work as a fire fighter. If I go infantry I can become private contractor after that which is something I've wanted to do as well. I will let you guys know when I ship off to basic and where I will be at.

army im assuming? i did 5 in the marines, make sure you pick a job thats going to be helpfull when you get out. i have friends that did infantry, and they are getting out and have no trade to offer civilian jobs because all they know is guns and how to kill. police departments are iffy on hireing infantry too. if i were you id go medical and get your skills there. so if you dont do 20 and retire you have something to fall back on. AND MAKE SURE YOU ATTEND COLLEGE WHILE YOUR ENLISTED!!!! its free and they give you money to get an education......alright im done sounding like a father. good luck

I have already done college. I basically have two years done and I'm just taking time off for a career.

Well i was gonna do 4 years and see how it is first.

I know. My brother was in the military so he's giving me tons of advice to make sure they don't **** me over.
